Sean Nakamura Dolan is an architectural designer and researcher with an interest in thermal material temporality and perception. He holds a Master of Architecture at Harvard Graduate School of Design and a BA in Architecture at UC Berkeley with Highest Honors. He was a Dean's Merit Scholar at the GSD and has received the Eisner Prize in Architecture, and twice received the Raymond Watson Best Project Prize.
He was an instructor and taught a studio at Harvard GSD's design discovery program and has also held monthly lectures and workshops at a general contractor firm in Japan. He has practiced and researched with offices including Kengo Kuma and Associates, IwamotoScott Architecture, Milliøns, Mohsen Mostafavi, and Alex Spatzier Architects.
中村之音（Sean Nakamura Dolan）は、空間での素材、熱、時、感覚の研究をする建築デザイナー。ハーバード大学デザイン大学院（GSD）にて建築学修士号（M.Arch）を、カリフォルニア大学バークレー校（UC Berkeley）にて建築学士号を取得。エイスナー建築賞や、レイモンド・ワトソン最優秀プロジェクト賞を2度にわたり受賞。
2023年から神奈川県茅ヶ崎市でデザインスタジオを開き、建築デザイン、新築、リノベーション、素材研究を進めている。
ハーバードGSDの「デザイン・ディスカバリー」プログラムでは講師を務め、 IwamotoScott Architecture、Milliøns、隈研吾事務所、Mohsen Mostafavi、Alex Spatzier Architectsなどで実務および研究に従事。
